Indy Beer News, You Stay Classy Indianapolis

Indy Beer News is a great podcast/blog for upcoming beer events in Indianapolis and surrounding areas. If you haven’t seen this before, it is a great resource for tap takeovers, special events at breweries, and all things beer. IBN also has a pretty comprehensive calendar page. Founder Bill Jimerson, is a blogger/podcaster and also just happens to be the manager of Indianapolis’ flagship homebrew shop Great Fermentations. Follow IndyBeerNews on Facebook and Twitter. Bloomington Craft Beer Festival Map

A map has been released of the Bloomington Craft Beer Festival layout on the BCBF App a couple of days ago. If you tap the picture above on your phone you can zoom in and out. Looks like it’s going to be a fun time. Make sure to drop by the homebrew table located near the Firkins and say hi. We will only be pouring from 4-5pm, so make sure hit us up (You have to give BIMPer’s time to sample delicious brew too :)). We’ve got 7 brews to choose from while they last. Have a safe BCBF!

Bloomington Craft Beer Week App For IOS and Android

The Brewers of Indiana Guild have created a free app for IOS and Android for the events at this week’s Bloomington’s Craft Beer Week. The app includes a schedule of events, address information, a list participating breweries, links to taxi information, a camera feature, and even an embedded #BCBW Twitter feed. This should be pretty handy for peeps that are participating in more than just the Craft Beer Festival on Saturday. A list of the breweries registered for the Bloomington Craft Beer Festival has not officially been announced, but the app suggests that the following breweries will be there this week:

BIMP Participating at Winterfest 2013!

You heard right folks, Beer Is My Passion will be participating at this year’s Brewers of Indiana Guild Winterfest at the Indiana State Fair on January 26th! What will we be doing you ask? Pouring delicious homebrew of course 🙂 We will be sharing the stage with 8 other Indiana Homebrew Clubs, each of which will be serving their mightiest homebrewed libations. I’ll be sure to update you all with a schedule of when our brews will be served. Hope to see you there!

They’ve got a great webstore that includes the popular “Visual Compendium of Notable Haircuts in Popular Music” and “Controllers.” If you are looking to fill some empty wall space with something interesting, this is the place to go.
