If you are looking for a reason to like Twenty Tap even more, now’s your chance. We dropped by to try Twenty Tap’s recently released American Pale and Brown ales today. There have been rumors floating around for some time that Broad Ripple’s popular tap house had brewing on their mind, but nothing was officially confirmed. Twenty Tap tweeted about their release this Friday.
Make sure and head by for a pint before they run out. Looking forward to some great new local beer in the area. Cheers!
Upland Brewing is hosting their second annual Sour Wild Funk Fest at Developer Town in Broad Ripple this May 11th from 1 to 5pm. Last year’s highlights included a raffle for Upland’s coveted Sour Reserve, a food pairing, and of course 50+ beers from 20+ breweries. Styles ranged from Lambic, Flanders, Farmhouse, and Saison and included locally brewed beers as well as beers from around the world. Some of my favorites from last year were Upland’s Gilgamesh, Goose Island’s Lolita, and Samuel Adams American Kriek. It’s a great small event for those looking to immerse your self in all things Sour. Tickets are onsale now, but going fast. Don’t miss out!
Bier Brewery and Sahm’s Place will be hosting another 5 course dinner/beer pairing at Sahm’s location on 65th and Keystone on Thursday December 20th. Tickets will be available at Sahm’s Place on December 1st, but there is a very limited number of them available. This would be an awesome date for beer saavy lovebirds and foodies alike. Sahm’s Facebook page says that tickets are going fast, so good luck and don’t forget the coffee cake!
Indy’s biggest and baddest microbrewer’s festival is coming up this Saturday! The Brewers of Indiana Guild still has tickets available here. If you haven’t ever been, and you love craft beer this is the festival for you. Brewers from all over the state/country are represented, and they usually use this event to showcase brews they only serve on tap. Don’t miss the beer festival of the year!
